Angela Sun

Angela Sun is a journalist film maker, documentary journalist and television host. Angela Sun was born on September 19, 1979 at Santa Clara County California. She has won awards for her work as a journalist and sportscaster as well as an actress. She graduated from University of California with a master's degree in communication and sociology. Sun's surfing ability was exceptional and she participated in several pro-am competitions. She was sponsored by big brands, such as Roxy Reef Billabong Vans. Recognition through these events was like rocket fuel which prompted her to enter the world of entertainment. Sun later went on to become an investigative sportscaster and film director. Sun has been a reporter for several news channels, primarily as an anchor. She worked for Fox Sports Net as a reporter from 2003. She also hosted American Ninja Warrior alongside Matt Iseman and Jonny Moseley back in 2012. In 2014 Sun hosts The Yahoo Sports Minute. She's the very first Asian American celebrity to be featured in the ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports Tennis Channel. Sun has starred in many movies and received fame and praise for her acting skills. Sun has worked with films like Goliath 2016 (Hit the Floor from 2014 to 2016), A Perfect Getaway, 2009), Street Kings (2008), Glowsticks and Drumsticks 2004 and Shackled. In 2014 Sun launched Platic Paradise: The Great Pacific Garbage Patch an feature-length documentary about plastic pollution in the oceans and its impact on the environment which she wrote she directed and wrote.
